Pingyin Rose Scented Tea (Black, Ripe Pu-erh or White)

from $56.00

Fresh, just-opened Pingyin roses are hand-split, de-cored and layered with fine tea in the traditional cold-scenting method, so the tea slowly absorbs the natural fragrance of the petals. Each batch is scented in small quantities from the 2026 harvest.

Choose your style:

  • Rose Black Tea – small-leaf black tea from Tongmu Village in the Wuyi Mountains, grown above 1,000 m with no pruning, fertilizer or pesticides. Sweet, soft rose aroma woven with honeyed black tea; a clean, cooling finish and a lingering rose sweetness.

  • Rose Ripe Pu-erh – 2021 old-tree spring ripe pu-erh. Fresh rose meets the walnut-like depth of ripe pu-erh in a clean, smooth, silky cup.

  • Rose White Tea – wild white tea scented with rose; the sweetness of the flowers and the fresh, honeyed character of white tea come together beautifully.

Brewing: about 5–7 g in a 150 ml gaiwan, water at 95–100°C, steep 3–10 seconds and increase gradually. The petals fade to pale pink as you brew, which is natural, and the fragrance deepens further with storage.

Available in 100 g and 500 g (1 jin).

Shipping: Each order is prepared for you after purchase and ships within 1–2 weeks.
